Winter Social Rides

Weekend social ride, this week starting from Ardgour and a loop out towards Strontian and around the B8043 through Glengalmadale.

Meeting at the Corran Ferry at 09.00 to get the 09.15 ferry over to Ardgour.

Weekend winter social rides running from October to March. (Saturday this week due to LAC winter league race)

Route details and meeting points each week will be shared on the club WhatsApp group & on the website event in advance.

These may be moved to a Saturday / cancelled in certain weeks where there is a clash with a LAC winter league race. 

Please book on to the session in advance to confirm attendance and give an idea of numbers.

We will ride out as a group, have a nice social chat and we will ride at the pace of the slowest rider.

These will be road rides unless otherwise advised and will depart at the advertised time (so please arrive 5-10 mins early).

Please also bring appropriate kit for the ride and conditions.

• You must wear your helmet on our group rides
• We strongly encourage you to use a front and rear light to be seen by other road users. This provides some safety at all times of year and in all weather conditions.
• Please think about how bright and visible your clothing is and wear suitable clothing for the weather conditions.
• Please carry kit to fix common issues that may occur on a ride (e.g. tyre lever, spare inner tube, bike pump, etc) .
